Change is inevitable and resistance is necessary to accomplish lasting change.

Think about it. Have you ever had change forced on you? Have you ever forced change on yourself or others? Evolution is constant change. So, the things we can count on to be consistent are: taxes, death and change. Change, in and of itself will happen. Most people here in America are hopeful that 'change' means 'better'. With our current political administration, it turns out that 'change' has been definitely for the 'worse'. The really sad part is that the people who elected those lying 'change' charlatans do not have the common sense or moral fiber to realize what a huge mistake it was and are therefore doomed to repeat their own mistake unless they are educated or wake up from the hypnotic trance that has engulfed their ability to reason and understand the dynamics of freedom and responsibility as prescribed by our Forefathers who fought for our way of life. The Constitution was written to preserve our freedoms and also protect us from our own government leaders from having too much control over our lives. It is time for real CHANGE to restore the rights and values of this great nation.

Our current Congress has been instrumental in robbing the American people of our rights and have abused the office to which they have been elected. They have elevated themselves to a status of unaccountable and have given themselves and their chosen friends a treasured lifestyle at our expense, while blatantly lying to us all. They should all be impeached! The whole system needs a moral overhaul.

Compromise!

Relationships and Compromise!

Relationships grow stronger when there is compromises made by both parties.

Ah, yes! Where there is a union of two into the blissful idea of "us", we are now "one"; the ultimate questions that confront all of us with relationships deals with the "me" or "we" (selfish or giving)? Where is the priority and what is the long term plan? If the relationship is going to survive there must be compromises made by each and the percent of compromise should be fair and discussed early.

My wife and I have been constantly balancing the relationship "boat-of-life" to be sure ours is sailing down a smooth river. Occasionally, there have been rough waters, but pulling together we righted the boat and were/are off again on the continuous journey of life always hopeful at what's just around the bend.

The Lord wants all of us to have a healthy and happy relationship with our spouses and children, and their spouses and children. It is up to each of us to find it in our hearts to be just a little more compassionate toward our family members.

Choice of Power Company!

My Personal Experience

This Sunday's feature will address my personal choice.

I am choosing to respond to a few emails I have received recently questioning my choice of Glacial Energy as an energy provider. In researching all the utilities/energy providers serving the great state of Texas based on service and lowest price, I discovered that variable rates was consistently cheaper than fixed rates over an annualized period of time. This holds true especially for commercial users. It took me over two months of pricing analysis going back 5 years to come to the decision of which provider was top on my list. Personally, I had been consistently overcharged by the big two in the state and was very leery of the smaller mom-and-pop providers (one who is a friend of mine) trying to get my business. For those of you who question if Glacial Energy is a good company, you are definitely paying more for energy than I am.

I have been with Glacial over two years now, and I highly recommend them to any commercial business that really wants to save money. They probably will not even require you to sign a long term contract to try them out. Call them and ask. Tell them I sent you!

I could not agree with him more. The seeking of power seems to corrupt by the very nature of wanting to yield ones control over another. So to find power that is in fact truly moral is a rarity in this world. Those born with the natural ability to lead others and are then elevated to a position of power would most likely posses the moral character to do the right and good thing. Beware of those who manipulate, lie and make promises they never intend to keep, for they have no morals.

Don't we all...at minimal cost!Isn't it amazing that those three wants are probably the same wants of all of us, especially at the end of a long day. The last one, unlimited power, could be personal or electricity. Regarding electricity, our dependence has become one of "taking it for granted" and "anger" when it is disrupted. And, our utilities are our fiduciaries who are there to not only provide that unlimited power, but to do it at the most efficient price. If they are allowed to make a profit, where does that conflict with their fiduciary responsibility? Maybe we should inquire with the local Public Utility Commission (PUC)!

A New Year, A New Beginning!

Let go of the old, make new good habits.

Ah, yes! It's that time when we all look forward to making new habits in our life that will improve our health, physically and mentally, our relationships, our careers and our standard of living. What improvements do we need to make and what improvements do we want to make? Break them down into two categories and prioritize them; then take the number 1 from each category and focus on them for sixty days or until you have made them a habit. Then add number 2 on each list to your focus for the next 60 days while maintaining action on the original number 1. Continue the process of adding new ones every 60 days and that process will also become habit. Before you know it, you will be amazed at your progress and this will be a great year of new beginnings.
