Power Quote for the Week
Welcome to Sunday's regular feature. Every week you can look for a witty, wise, or profound quotation from assorted folks about power.
I choose these quotations about power as it refers to electricity, since that is what this blog is about. Sometimes though, I'll select a quotation about power, as it relates to the human condition.
Carl Gustav Jung (26 July 1875 – 6 June 1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist, an influential thinker and the founder of analytical psychology (also known as Jungian psychology) said, "Where love rules, there is no will to power; and where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other."
Bringing Meaning To Madness
What say you? When you analyze your own personality, do you find that you are predominately approaching life and relationships from the side of love or using your power to control others? Balance is key as with all things in life.
Can I help you find something?
