Power Quote for the Week
Welcome to Sunday's regular feature. Every week you can look for a witty, wise, or profound quotation from assorted folks about power.
I choose these quotations about power as it refers to electricity, since that is what this blog is about. Sometimes though, I'll select a quotation about power, as it relates to the human condition.
Freda Adler, currently a Distinguished Professor in Criminal Justice at Rutgers University said, "Stripped of ethical rationalizations and philosophical pretensions, a crime is anything that a group in power chooses to prohibit."
Bringing Meaning To Madness
Take the 2nd Amendment as an example. There are those in Washington who are doing there best to prohibit the use of all fire arms. They want to use their power to prohibit our ability to protect ourselves; thus they are contributing to a crime against the citizens of this United States by hiding new legislation in current bills to be passed by congress. Deception at the highest level is a crime of evil.
Can I help you find something?
