Power Quote for the Month
I choose these quotations about power as it refers to electricity, since that is what this blog is about. Sometimes though, I'll select a quotation about power, as it relates to the human condition.
Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn (11 December 1918 – 3 August 2008) was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1970. He was expelled from the Soviet Union in 1974, but returned to Russia in 1994 after the Soviet system had collapsed. He said, "You only have power over people so long as you don't take everything away from them. But when you've robbed a man of everything, he's no longer in your power - he's free again."
Bringing Meaning To Madness
Our current Congress has been instrumental in robbing the American people of our rights and have abused the office to which they have been elected. They have elevated themselves to a status of unaccountable and have given themselves and their chosen friends a treasured lifestyle at our expense, while blatantly lying to us all. Most recently there has been a change in party dominance and if true beneficial changes are going to take place we should see some positive steps in the right direction in 2015. If however those positive changes do not start to show up soon and with a major impact, they should all be impeached! The whole system needs a moral overhaul.
Never surrender, never give up!
Can I help you find something?
