Holiday and Time Off.
Traditions are comforting.
Thanksgiving has come and gone. I do hope yours was a great one without any drama or unnecessary grief. Mine was not traditional for the first time in years. I did not have my whole family together nor was there any wonderful turkey, cornbread dressing with pecans and giblet gravy or lemon meringue pie. I did host one of my sons and his family and we ate out on Thanksgiving day. The prime rib was very good, yet it was not traditional, therefore leaving me with a hollow feeling. I really enjoyed their visit, but I really missed the tradition and ceremony. Next year it will be traditional.
Bringing Meaning To Madness
Enjoy your family traditions wherever you can or start some to pass on to your family and friends. Be careful, be safe; Never give up, never surrender!

Concentrated Power!
Power Quote for the Week
Welcome to Sunday's semi-regular feature. This week's witty, wise, or profound quotation concerns wisdom as referred to the use of power.
I choose these quotations about power as it refers to electricity, since that is what this blog is about. Sometimes though, I'll select a quotation about power, as it relates to the human condition.
Ronald Wilson Reagan (February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004) was the 40th President of the United States (1981–1989) and the 33rd Governor of California (1967–1975). He said, “Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty. ”
Bringing Meaning To Madness
Let's all hope that the concentrated power in Washington has been neutralized to the point of responding to the "people" instead of dictating our country's social agenda.
